• Zump Ltd. Remote Contract March 2019 - Present

  Chief Technology Officer - Real Estate Platform
  Led the production of a greenfield real estate application targeting multiple platforms - iOS, Android and Web. Hired, trained and led a fully remote team. Set up workflows, communicated with stakeholders and ensured development was efficient. We used TypeScript, Kubernetes, PostgresSQL and Redis stack.

• FACEIT Ltd. Remote Contract March 2018 - March. 2019

  React Native Developer - App for a Gaming Platform
  Joined as an external consultant to unify how they build applications using React and JavaScript. I developed a plan to manage and share components of multiple React projects, then prepared a solid foundation for the new mobile project using the shared code. Helped with migration to TypeScript.

• Eurostar Contract August 2016 - October 2017

  Front End Developer - Main Transactional User Journey
  Worked on one of the most critical aspects of Eurostar's platform - a booking path that transacts millions of pounds daily. The version our team produced increased the conversion rate by a few %, decreased loading times from 5s to sub-second and improved the general user experience.

• ZomboDroid Remote Contract May 2016 - Jul 2016

  React Native Developer - Meme Generator iOS app
  I ported an already successful app from Android (with more than 10 million downloads on the Google Play store) to iOS using React Native. The finished product is a hybrid app, a mix of obj-c and JavaScript. The app uses some iOS systems & 3rd party libraries to ensure the best performance and user experience in all scenarios.

• In The Window Full time - London, UK May 2015 - Jun 2016

  React Developer - Desktop Website
  Helped migrating from proprietary javascript framework to React.js. We built and developed an immersive web application. Later I led the development of a companion website intended for the press.

  React Native Developer - iOS & Android App
  We built a really immersive social network for interior designers. With smooth animations, collaborative features and delivered to multiple platforms.

• Motion Picture Solutions Full time - London, UK Nov 2014 - Apr 2015

  PHP & Node.JS Developer - Real time e-mail collaboration client
  I worked on a real-time collaboration e-mail client we used for client support. We built it using the LAMP stack. On the backend, we used PHP & CodeIgniter with a combination of NodeJS(+socket.io) and on the front end, jQuery with a combination of Socket.io to deliver real-time updates to the client.

  PHP Developer - Internal Managment Tool
  I was also responsible for internal tasks, billing and asset management tool that we used throughout the company for collaboration purposes. We built it using the same stack as the project above.

• Databox Part Time - Boston, US | Ptuj, Slovenia Jan 2013 - Oct 2013

  PHP Developer - Backend development
  Helped with the development of backend services that spanned multiple 3rd party services. Used SQL with MySQL. Redis for caching. I partially designed and developed the API in a way that followed the REST conventions.

  JavaScript Developer - Front End development
  We used jQuery to increase the site's interactivity. One of the components of the main website was a preview of the final version of the app that users would have on their phones later. I built this component with AngularJS.

• Motiviti Maribor, Slovenia Internship July-Aug 2012 Remote - May-June 2013

  Web Developer - Gamification Paltform for Companies
  The backend was developed using CodeIgniter and MongoDB. It exposed a RESTful API, which we later used in both standalone and web-based versions of a game. The web-based version of the game was created with Backbone.js, jQuery, Raphael and Bootstrap.

• Partnership Europe Cork, Ireland Internship November 2012

  Web Developer - Client Website
  I was responsible for creating a new design for a website using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. It was a simple single-page application optimized for search engines (SEO).

• Relief Maribor, Slovenia Internship May-July 2012

  C# Developer - Phaurmacetical Backup Solution
  Helped with the development of automated jobs that were written in C# and were backing up phaurmacetical data from their MsSQL database. I had a great mentor and several pair programming sessions.
